What is Sushi?
Sushi is a bit of a broad term that encompasses a few different dishes. The true definition refers to a combination of vinegar rice and fresh ingredients, typically seafood and vegetables. Nigiri sushi features slices of raw fish placed on top of vinegar rice, typically held in place with a small amount of wasabi. Sushi rolls feature vinegar rice, raw fish, and other ingredients rolled with a seaweed wrapper. How Was Sushi Created?
